We prepared the design and international tender documents to a 110 tonnes/day glass plant including conducting the contract negotiation with 4 short-listed contractors/suppliers.

  • Pre-feasibility study and a feasibility study into the 750,000 tonnes per annum expansion at Mugher Cement Factory near Addis Ababa with an option of a greenfield site alternative at Dire Dawa in northern Ethiopia. The study included the full geological survey of the limestone, gypsum, pumice and clay sites including complete borehole and laboratory analysis followed by reserve estimation and quarry design. MIGL undertook the conceptual design of the process requirements leading to the preparation of tender documents for international equipment supply and construction

  • A study of the cement packing and associated departments of a newly privatised cement company. Implementation of improvements to bulk cement, loose bag and palletised product loading and warehousing and distribution

India

  • Evaluation of the viability of a US$200 million green-field site development for a 2.6M tpa cement works in the Kutchch district of Gujarat for potential investment.
